How to Setup/Provision a SIP Phone


In this video you will learn how to setup a desktop/hardware SIP phone in Conversant's phone system. This process is largely automatic due to Conversant's custom provisioning technology.

To add a new device, navigate to Smart PBX > users. Select the Devices column next to the user that you wish to create the device for.

Select New Device > SIP Phone 

Choose the make and model of the phone you are wishing to add. 

Enter a device name and select create device. Select save changes.

Now instruct the device to provision with Conversant. 

Visit the Conversant website and choose Configure SIP Phones under the support section.
